Razor Golf has created a very exciting series of Golf Tournaments during the 2008 Summer Season, to benefit The First Tee of Clearwater - Junior Golf Program.

Beginning April 7th, 2008 - Razor Golf will host 11 Tournaments and 1 Final throughout the Tampa Bay Area. The format of these Tournaments will be, (2) person International Stableford Scoring (points). Contestants will compete using the International Stableford Scoring system, (1) point for a bogey, (2) points for a par, (4) points for a birdie and (8) points for an eagle. Example: if your handicap is 20, you subtract your handicap from 36 (that is even par, 18 x 2 points per hole). That gives you a quota of 16. The points of each partner are added together to arrive at the team quota. The team with the most points over quota will qualify for an exciting final.

The 22 winning teams from the qualifying events will play a final round in August 2008. The winning team from this final event will receive a trip to St. Andrews Scotland, September 20-23, 2008 to compete in the International Pairs World Championship. This trip includes airfare for (2), golf, accommodations and some meals.

The competition is open to all amateurs with a USGA GHIN handicap. The winners of the Scotland trip must have a USGA verifiable handicap and a valid passport.
